We offer a broad range of services to serve the needs and interests of those adults who are 55 and older, as well as their families.
SHINE at the Tiz COA
The SHINE Program provides free health insurance information, counseling, and assistance to people who are eligible for Medicare and their caregivers.
We have 2 certified, trained SHINE counselors volunteering here at the Tiz COA who can work with you to help explore Medicare plan options and uncover ways to save money on both health insurance and prescription drug costs.
Please email Linda Gorham at lindaLJG2gmail.com or Silvia Vogt at silvia.vogt@gmail.com to schedule an appointment.
We also have information for the other Island COAs and their counselors available.

Ink Jet Cartridge Recycling
Drop your used ink jet cartridges in the bright red box in the entryway. The League of Women Voters of MV will take care of shipping cost to recycle them.
The LWV of MV is helping landfills, our Island, and our planet by recycling used inkjet cartridges. Over 1 million printer cartridges are thrown away every day. That’s more than 11 cartridges per second! It can take over 1,000 years for these cartridges to decompose.
